Masquerade The Four Elements Fire

The Four Elements Fire

She sits alone in a chamber lit by the light of her presence. She is regal, beautiful, and enigmatic. Like a queen of the ages, she holds the powers that drive all to ascend to their destiny. When her eyes come upon you beneath her feathered mask, you feel her stare; it pierces within you breaking down all barriers you hold within. The temperature within you begins to rise. At that moment you are taken by her, stripped of all in the presence of Fire. A slight smile curves upon her lips, it’s a tell of hers, when she finds the answers to your deepest desires. In her a chambers a sound, a screaming of a bird of prey echoes from the darkness and then a flash of light. Colors of reds, ambers, blues, and greens gracefully take flight and soar around you. Then, with grace, perch themselves upon a golden stake of a goddess who is sacrificed by her own powers. Only then, at that moment, a single thought ignites. You are inspired; drawn, taken in by the smoldering ash of rebirth. The daughter of Prometheus is within you; the spirit of the infinite phoenix is your guide. This is Fire. The element that holds the powers of our love, fuels our destiny, and ignites our rage. The power of Fire is the most powerful element. Given birth by Air, she fuels us with the energies we come to desire. When you are in her presence you are reborn and blessed with the ability to obtain the powers you seek, powers that can create or destroy. This power is determined by the truth that lies within your heart. This is the power of the element of Fire.

I created this Illustration almost a decade ago. The pencils were some of the tightest and cleanest I have ever created. Sometime back in 2011 I began learning advanced digital color techniques. I worked with a program called sketch book pro in the beginning of 2012 and took the colored piece into photoshop for digital lighting and other enhancements. This is a small sample of what my work become now. This piece was the precipice to my new journey as an artist. You can find this and many of my new works at Seven The Art of JohnCarlo The site will be live in less then a month.
